Java Junkie Protein Smoothie
1 double shot of espresso or 1/3 cup very strong coffee (cooled)
1/2 cup skim milk
2 packs of splenda
2 scoops of vanilla whey (chocolate if you want a mocha drink)

In a blender, combine all the ingredients. Blend for about 1 minute. Pour into a large glass and serve.

Southwestern Rub
2 teaspoons cumin
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 packets of Splenda

In a small mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients together. Mix thoroughly. This spice mixture can be used on chicken or steak before grilling!

Oatbran Pancakes
1/2c oatbran
1/2c oatmeal
6 packets of Splenda
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4c 2% milk
2 egg white
dash of salt

In a large bowl, whisk together the foatbran, oatmeal, splenda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

In another bowl, beat the egg whites and then addin the milk.

Spray a large skillet or griddle with Pam and put on a medium heat.

Add the wet ingredients to the oat mixture, and whisk until a thick batter is just formed.

Pour half the batter onto the griddle. Cook, until bubbles break the surface of the pancakes, and the undersides are golden brown. Flip with a spatula and cook the second side. Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more Pam to the skillet if needed.

These pancakes taste great alone or topped with low sugar syrup or fruit.

Turkey Marsala
4 4oz Turkey breast cutlets
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1tbs minced dried onions
1tsp oregano
2tbs Marsala cooking wine
1tbs minced garlic

In a heated saute pan, sprayed with Pam, add dried onions, oregano, garlic and mushrooms. Once mushrooms are cooked add turkey cutlets. When one side is cooked, turn and do other. Serve with sauteed spinach. Enjoy!

Awesome Protein Smoothie

8oz water
1 small vanilla yogurt
1tbs peanut butter
1tbs honey

Mix all ingredients in a blender and enjoy!
