Shape your backside with stiff leg deadlifts

This an excellent way to train your glutes and hamstrings. Here, I am using a preloaded straight bar. To begin I stand upright holding the bar close to my body. I bend at the hips lowering the bar towards the floor, keeping my back straight. When my upper body is just about parallel to the floor and I can feel a good stretch in my hamstrings, I squeeze my glutes and slowly return to an upright position.

Currently I am training my hamstrings along with quads. Stiff leg deadlifts are my last exercise. A typical leg workout looks like:

Seated extension to warmup
Leg press
lying hamstring curl
stiff leg deadlifts
